That’s AWESOME!! Great find Michel. 7′ 4wt with the 444 double taper should be a blast to cast.

    Congratulations my friend!

Please tell me the 444 line is the Peach colored line. If not, it should be just fine.

    Good job. 😀

Yes the 444 is the peach colored line, it’s a classic line,

I like this little bambou rod is one of my dream because bambourod is normaly expensive, I am very locky and happy to find this little rod, I call the rod maker and it will be able to write my name on it and also to make a second tip rod for 150$.

    Thank

All I can say after that is, he shoots…..he scores! Boo can be very expensive to a lot of people like myself. Took me forever to get the money saved, and mine was still under a $1000 US. But I know it wont be my last bamboo because I’m about to start saving for a 3wt for the small streams.

I’m liking bamboo more and more, and I’m sure you will too. I’m glad the line you got is the Classic Peach. Creek fishes with that line and suggested it to me and I really like it on the bamboo. I have the WF line because they were out of the DT line. I’ll have to get some DT soon.

Let us know how it performs on the water, and have fun with it.

Now, don’t forget to buy a furled leader for it.

Hi Scotty , I saved for my lovely wee 3# it’s a 6ft6 hex with rather a nice inscription ” to Kris from Glenn built under the northern star fished under the southern cross . A certain mr G Brackett built my rod for me . Well worth saving up for .

I like your inscription Bamboo46. It does make a statement. Mine says, ” In memory of Grandpa.” In honor of the man who got me into this sport, but left way too soon.

I’m looking at a 3wt for the streams that have small brookies, 8 to 10 inches. The guy who made mine is Chris Lantzy in Penn. I am very well pleased with it and will ask him to make my 3wt as well.

By the way, that certain G. Brackett knows his stuff. I hear all sorts of good things about Sweetgrass rods. Almost got one till I found Chris.
