Yes the 444 is the peach colored line, it’s a classic line,
I like this little bambou rod is one of my dream because bambourod is normaly expensive, I am very locky and happy to find this little rod, I call the rod maker and it will be able to write my name on it and also to make a second tip rod for 150$.
All I can say after that is, he shoots…..he scores! Boo can be very expensive to a lot of people like myself. Took me forever to get the money saved, and mine was still under a $1000 US. But I know it wont be my last bamboo because I’m about to start saving for a 3wt for the small streams.
I’m liking bamboo more and more, and I’m sure you will too. I’m glad the line you got is the Classic Peach. Creek fishes with that line and suggested it to me and I really like it on the bamboo. I have the WF line because they were out of the DT line. I’ll have to get some DT soon.
Let us know how it performs on the water, and have fun with it.
When I buy the rod I call the guy who made the rod and he specify to me to put only DT on his rod, It’s why I buy the Cortland 444.
