I just joined the forum and look forward to learning from everyones experiences on the water. I’ve been fly fishing for 14 years now, mostly in the blue ridge mountains of NC. It was a solo backpack trip into some wild trout water last year that really got me interested in strictly dry fly fishing. Like most of you, its not about how many fish i catch but how I choose to do it that interests me most, to all of you, good luck on the water.
Joe, welcome from Colorado. Wild trout water is hard to beat when it comes to the solitude and scenery being interrupted now and then by a trout. But they’re nice to look at as well.
Dry fly is where it’s at in our hearts as you know, and I’m glad you have joined in with us.
