Over the last 9 years i’ve been going from one package deal on my cable connection to another. I’ve finally run out of deals and my bill will go up $80 a month. I can’t stretch my SS check to pay that. It would take from my food and gas money. Gas money means my fishing money. The order to shut off is in and it can happen any minute.
It’s been fun with you guys and I hate to leave. Just know i’ll be casting dries forever and hopefully you guys will be too.
Creek, say it aint so!!!!!! It sucks that you have to have cable or something to have a working computer. That’s just plain wrong.
Creek, I want to say and I hope it aint too late, thank you for everything. You will always be remembered by me. I never told you, but remember when I said you remind me of my grandfather? His only son is named Pete. Strange isn’t it?
You will be missed, but you can’t get rid of me that easily. I still have your address, so HA on you. If I’m ever in that area, lets do lunch or something, my treat.
Good-bye my friend. You have taught me things I won’t forget, and this forum won’t be the same without you. I can’t count how many times I opened this forum wanting to see a new thread from you. I enjoyed our conversations greatly.
If you run into this again I could hook you up with a wireless PC card, I have one or two laying around (even a spare wireless router). You just would have to find someone willing to share their internet for fresh brookies or elk. A buddy of mine actually used to share his for a case of beer a month with a neighbor, till they quit paying for a while.
I was deer hunting Scotty. I’ll start fishing with the CGR now. Cottonwood Creek is perfect right now. I usually skip creeks in the fall when the leaves are falling in the water. It messes up dry fly fishing. The leaves are off now and floated away.
DW……..I thought of that when I lost the cable connection. There is a signal that some are picking up in this building. I found out they’re stealing it and I don’t want to do that.
