Moon phases affect fish behavior, as well as the ocean tides.

Will this solar eclips have any effect on the fish? Will the feed, or hide, or just do what they do?

    Any thoughts?

Wow! I love the way your mind is always roaring along at full speed. Danged good question!
My guess (and that’s all it is) would be that they will behave as though it is dusk, followed by night, followed by dawn all within a couple of hours, particularly in the area of the full eclipse. So, good fishing, I’d say. Now you got me thinking I need to be on the stream during the eclipse. I’m nowhere near the zone that will experience the full eclipse, but it would be fascinating to see how the fish react.

I have Mon. to Thurs. off next week & I will be in a stream during the event. This should be something neat no matter what. I should take one of my welding lenses with me.

My mind may be roaring along, but it doesn’t get anywhere. Lol.

Haha. you remind me of a friend I travel with, who has a tendency to get lost. His favourite expression is: “I’m not sure where we are, but we’re making good time.”.
